Alcohol Treatment Rehabilitation CentersThis is any kind of, or level of, counseling that is available for individuals that have a problem controlling their use of alcohol. This is sometimes called alcohol rehab. In criminal cases involving drinking and driving violations, where the defendant has an obvious and ongoing alcohol problem, the attorney may refer the client to a professional alcohol abuse treatment center for evaluation and perhaps intervention. Not only will the defendant gain the benefit of ameliorative treatment, he or she will also be able to prove to the sentencing judge, if convicted, that the defendant is maturely acknowledging and dealing with the alcohol abuse problem.
