SpamSpam is a type of internet commercial advertising. Spam can annoy a receiver to absolute distraction. Because of the low costs of email, many spam advertisers will send out continuous email advertisements to a large email audience. These spam messages can clog the computer and take a great deal of the receiver's time. To remedy the situation, at least partially, the Anti-Spam law was enacted. Similar to the rules applicable to telephone solicitors, the anti-spam law requires spam marketers to remove certain customers from email spam list. This is done on request. The effectiveness of this statute is yet to be seen. The best defense may be anti-spam software.
